LAND USE BOARDS
Boro Engineering’s professionals have served as
the named planning or zoning board engineer or
planner in numerous boards in both Monmouth
and Ocean counties. We have served boards which
have heard applications for several thousand unit
major subdivisions and commercial shopping
centers, as well as single family variance
applications.
Our goal is to provide every planning and zoning
board with personalized attention. The needs of
every township and board are different, and we
provide individualized service to be intimately
familiar with your board’s goals and needs.
Our staff is well versed in the Municipal Land Use
Law (MLUL), the ever-changing Affordable Housing
regulations (COAH), and the Residential Site
Improvement Standards (RSIS) of New Jersey. We
can assist you in application reviews, zoning
ordinance preparation, and Master Plan Re-
examination reports.

CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Every project is won during construction. The best
design plans, constructed with poor oversight, will
result in a sub-par project. Our professionals have
overseen hundreds of successful construction
projects of various sizes and complexities.
Our goal is to provide every project with
outstanding construction oversight from start to
finish. We begin by making sure the designs are
ready to go to construction, assist in the bidding
process, coordinate with the contractor and his
submissions, inspect the project, and process the
contractor payments.
We are also aware that many projects are funded
by grants or loans, and there are certain
requirements necessary during construction so that
reimbursement goes smoothly. We are well versed
in NJDOT, NJDEP, and CDBG grants and loans and
their specific requirements so we can assist in the
reimbursement process.
